ASTM A213 Stainless Steel 347 Seamless Tube Manufacturer
We at Xintongda Special Steel (XTD) are a reliable name in China for the manufacturing and supplying of stainless steel 347 seamless tubes. Generally known as TP347 or SS 347, this is a high-performance austenitic stainless steel made of chromium (17-20%), nickel (9-13%), manganese (2% max), carbon (0.08% max), stabilised by columbium (niobium) plus tantalum at 10×C min to 1.10% max, and other elements within specified limits. Our SS 347 seamless tubes comply fully with ASTM A213, ASME SA213, AMS 5571, and EN 10216-5 standards. The added niobium stabilises the alloy against chromium carbide precipitation at 800-1500 °F temperature range. Our 347 stainless tube also resists intergranular corrosion and has higher creep and stress-to-rupture strength. These properties make 347 seamless tubing suitable for heat exchangers, food processing equipment, etc.
Being a leading manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel 347 tube, we only provide rigorously tested products. We hold 4 decades of experience in this industry and are multiple international certified. Our annual supply capacity is 25,000 tons, and we deliver in-stock products within a week and production orders in 15-60 days.

347 Stainless Steel Tube Manufacturing Process
To manufacture our 347 Seamless Stainless Steel tube, we first take a solid stainless steel billet and heat and pierce it to make it hollow. Then, the hollow shell undergoes hot working and cold-drawing to get its precise dimensions. Later, controlled solution annealing is performed to retain the tube’s corrosion resistance. The last step involves pickling and straightening before the tube is sent for testing. You can study the whole manufacturing process by simply clicking here.
What are the Key Features of SS 347 Seamless Tube?
Our TP347 seamless tube offers 3 main features: weldability & fabricability, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance.
- Excellent Weldability & Fabricability: The niobium (columbium) present in this alloy combines with carbon to form stable niobium carbides. This process prevents chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries during the welding process, which makes the TP347 tube highly weldable and fabricable.
- Corrosion Resistance: Our TP347 tube resists corrosion because chromium forms a protective oxide layer, while niobium prevents chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries.
- High-Temperature Performance: The fully austenitic microstructure and niobium stabilisation together enable our stainless steel 347 seamless tube to perform reliably at elevated temperatures ranging from 800–1500°F
