Nickel Seamless Pipe Manufacturer in China

We are Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel (XTD), a China-based manufacturer of nickel seamless pipe. Nickel seamless pipe is a hollow, tubular product produced without a longitudinal weld from a solid billet of commercially pure nickel. Commercially pure nickel resists caustic and alkaline attack better than any stainless steel, holds up in neutral fresh water and de-aerated acids, and stays ductile down to cryogenic temperatures. We manufacture nickel seamless pipe to ASTM B161 (equivalent ASME SB-161) in the two commercial grades XTD supplies: Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) for general caustic and alkaline service, and Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) for the same service at temperatures above 315 °C (600 °F). We hold multiple international certifications, listed on our Certificate page, and we run an annual supply capacity of 25,000 tons. Stock orders ship within one week, and custom production runs are typically completed in 15 to 60 days.

Our Nickel alloy seamless pipe meets the following specifications:

What is Nickel Alloy Seamless Pipe?

A Nickel alloy seamless pipe is a solid cylindrical form produced without any longitudinal or circumferential seam. Technically, "seamless" refers to a product that is extruded and drawn from a solid billet rather than being formed from a flat plate and joined. While welded pipes rely on a filler or fusion at the joint, seamless nickel alloy pipe maintains a continuous metal grain. This method allows multiple nickel alloy pipes to be produced in seamless form to ensure maximum pressure resistance.

Manufacturing Process of Nickel Alloy Seamless Pipe

The manufacturing workflow of Nickel alloy seamless pipe begins by heating a solid round billet. This billet undergoes hot extruded to create a hollow shell. The cold-worked seamless pipe is refined through further drawing or rolling and finished with heat treatment to get the required mechanical properties. Nickel Alloy Grades we Provide in Seamless Pipe

We provide these 2 Nickel alloy grades in seamless pipes:

01

Nickel 200 Seamless Pipe

Nickel 200 seamless pipe is made from a commercially pure wrought nickel. It provides excellent resistance to corrosive and alkaline environments. It is highly ductile and maintains its properties across a wide temperature range. It is used in chemical processing, caustic handling, and heat exchangers where reliable corrosion resistance is required.
02

Nickel 201 Seamless Pipe

Nickel 201 seamless pipe is the low-carbon version of Nickel 200. It is specifically designed for applications involving temperatures above 315 °C (600 °F). The lower carbon content prevents embrittlement during prolonged heat exposure. This makes it suitable for thermal processing, chemical industries, and equipment operating under elevated temperatures.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which industries use Seamless Nickel Alloy Pipe?
Seamless nickel alloy pipes are used in chemical processing, oil and gas, power generation, marine, and pharmaceuticals. They handle corrosive environments and high temperatures well.
  • What are the available OD, wall thickness (schedule), and standard lengths?
At XTD, the available OD ranges from 6 mm to 457 mm, wall thicknesses are between 1 mm and 65 mm and standard length is up to 18 m.
  • Which product standards do you manufacture?
We manufacture nickel seamless pipe to ASTM B161 (equivalent ASME SB-161), which is the standard specification for seamless nickel pipe and tube. Material test certificates are issued to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 on request.
  • What are the main benefits of Seamless Nickel Pipe?
The main benefits of Seamless Nickel pipe include superior corrosion resistance, high strength, and uniformity without welds. This makes it ideal for extreme conditions in heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
  • What is current stock availability versus lead time for made-to-order production?
Refer to our live stock page to know about our current stock availability. The lead time for our made-to-order production orders is 15 to 60 days.
  • Why choose Nickel Alloy Seamless Pipe over Welded Pipes?
You should choose Nickel seamless pipe over welded pipes because seamless pipes avoid weld seams that can weaken under corrosion or pressure. They provide better strength and reliability in harsh services.
  • Which Nickel alloy grades do you supply?
We supply Nickel alloy in grades like Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) and Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) at XTD.
