ASTM B622 Alloy C276 Seamless Tube Manufacturer
We are Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel (XTD), a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Alloy C276 seamless tubes in China. Our facility produces high-performance nickel alloy tubing products designed for the most aggressive industrial environments. The Alloy C276 seamless tube is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with tungsten. It consists of a balanced amount of nickel, 15-17% molybdenum, 14.5-16.5% chromium, 3-4.5% tungsten, and the remainder of other elements. Alloy C276’s unique chemical composition makes it very strong and resistant to corrosion. Our tubes comply fully with the ASTM B622 standard.
We can easily meet the needs of large-scale projects because we can handle 25,000 tons a year. Our delivery times are reasonable. We ship stock items within a week, and production orders usually take 15 to 60 days to ship. We are a multiple internationally certified company, and our Alloy C276 seamless nickel tubing is used in many industries, including oil and gas (sour service), chemical processing, pollution control, and more.

Key Steps in Manufacturing Alloy C276 Tube
We transform solid nickel alloy billets into high-precision tubular products through a rigorous process of rotary hot extruded and cold drawing to achieve exact dimensions. To restore the alloy’s corrosion resistance structure after forming, every C276 tube undergoes solution annealing and rapid quenching before final straightening and testing. Please refer to our manufacturing process page.
What are the Features and Advantages of Seamless Alloy C276 Tube?
The Alloy C276 seamless tubes have 5 main features:
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Chromium forms a passive layer of chromium oxide to resist oxidation.
- Exceptional Pitting and Crevice Corrosion Resistance: The high molybdenum content (15-17%) provides resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion.
- High Pressure and Temperature Tolerance: The chemical composition, manufacturing process, and mechanical properties contribute to the C276 tube’s high-pressure and temperature tolerance.
- Superior Weldability: The low amount of carbon helps prevent carbide precipitation during welding.
- Resistance to Stress-Corrosion Cracking: This is due to the high amount of nickel.
