Alloy B-2 Seamless Pipe Manufacturing Process

We manufacture our B2 seamless nickel alloy pipe by carefully selecting the billets and heating and hot extruded to form a hollow shell. We then draw, roll, and size the pipe while controlling temperature to maintain the solid solution structure.   • Superior Resistance to Strong Reducing Acids: It can handle high concentrations of reducing acids like hydrochloric and hydrobromic. The higher molybdenum content ensures the metal remains safe from rapid penetration even at extreme temperatures.
  • Exceptional Resistance to Hydrogen Chloride (HCl) Attack: B2 alloy pipe stays stable even when exposed to hydrogen chloride or other harmful acids.
  • Outstanding Performance in Pure Chemical Environments: B2 performs better than other alloys in pure media. This makes it a preferred choice in reactors, piping lines, and storage units.
  • Very Low Carbon (≤0.02%) Minimises Carbide Precipitation: The very low carbon content minimises carbide precipitation at grain boundaries, significantly reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion, especially in the as-welded condition.
