Hastelloy Seamless Tube Manufacturer

We provide high-quality Hastelloy seamless tubes at Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel (XTD). We have been a reputable manufacturer based in China since 1985 and we ship to customers all over the world. The Hastelloy tube is a nickel-based superalloy, consisting of controlled levels of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, and in some grades iron. This composition makes it very resistant to localised corrosion, oxidation, and chemical attacks. We manufacture this tube as per the ASTM B622 standards. Our Hastelloy seamless tubing is made without seams. This ensures uniform wall thickness, precise dimensional accuracy, and smooth internal surfaces. This makes them suitable for systems that handle fluids and pressure where reliability in high-pressure or corrosive environments is a must. As a trusted Hastelloy Seamless Tube supplier, we serve important industries like marine engineering, aerospace, and chemical processing. We hold multiple international certifications and have an annual supply capacity of 25,000 tons. We fulfill stock orders in one week, while production orders for SMLS tubes take 15–60 days.

We manufacture these high-performance seamless alloy tubes in accordance with the following specifications:

What is Hastelloy Seamless Tube?

A Hastelloy seamless tube is a high-strength tube made from nickel-based alloys, commonly containing molybdenum and chromium, and in some grades tungsten or iron. Unlike welded pipes, these tubes are manufactured without welded seams, which provides superior structural integrity. This makes nickel-based superalloy tubes essential for industrial use.

How are Hastelloy Seamless Tubes made?

The seamless tube manufacturing process begins with heating a solid round billet. We use the extrusion method or rotary piercing to create a hollow shell. This production technique ensures the tube has no seams. It is followed by cold drawing or pilgering to achieve final dimensions.

Available Hastelloy Grades for Seamless Tubes

We provide the following Hastelloy grades for seamless tubes at XTD:

01

Hastelloy C276 Seamless Tube

This is the most versatile grade. Hastelloy C276 seamless tube is known for resisting pitting and stress corrosion cracking. It performs exceptionally well in harsh chemical processing and waste treatment environments.
02

Hastelloy C22 Seamless Tube

Hastelloy C22 seamless tube offers superior resistance to oxidizing media compared to C276. It is specifically used in pharmaceutical and food processing where oxidising and reducing media are present.
03

Hastelloy C4 Seamless Tube

Known for its high thermal stability, Hastelloy C4 seamless tube resists grain-boundary precipitate formation. It is perfect for chemical process equipment operating at elevated temperatures.
04

Hastelloy C2000 Seamless Tube

Hastelloy C2000 seamless tube includes a copper addition to handle a wider range of corrosive chemicals. It is designed to resist both sulfuric acid and oxidising salts effectively.
05

Hastelloy B2 Seamless Tube

Hastelloy B2 seamless tube is specifically used for handling hydrochloric acid across a wide range of concentrations. It is a nickel-molybdenum alloy that resists pure reducing acids.
06

Hastelloy B3 Seamless Tube

Hastelloy B3 seamless tube provides the same acid resistance as B2, but with improved structural stability. It is easier to fabricate and has better resistance to stress-related cracking during heating.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which tube is stronger: seamless or welded, and why?
Hastelloy seamless tubes are stronger than welded tubes. They have no weld seam so they lack weak points and are better able to handle pressure and stress.
  • Why are Hastelloy seamless tubes used in high-pressure and extreme-temperature applications?
Hastelloy seamless tubes excel in high-pressure and extreme-temperature settings due to their uniform structure without welds. This design boosts strength, resists cracking, and maintains integrity under harsh conditions.
  • Can Hastelloy seamless tubes handle strong acids?
Yes, specific Hastelloy grades can handle strong acids like hydrochloric, sulfuric, and phosphoric acids well. Their alloy composition provides excellent corrosion protection in aggressive chemical environments. Other grades are selected based on the chemical environment.
