Nickel Alloy Tube Manufacturer

We, Xintongda Special Steel (XTD), have been manufacturing the best-quality nickel alloy tubes in China since 1985. All our nickel alloy tubes are manufactured according to ASTM B163 and B161 standards. This is a high-performance tube made to provide stability at extreme temperatures, high-pressure systems, and corrosion resistance against acidic, alkaline, and seawater conditions. This nickel alloy tube is mainly used in chemical & petrochemical, aerospace, power generation, oil and gas, and various other industries. We at XTD provide various types of grades of nickel tubes in various sizes and dimensions. Our team conducts a lot of rigorous testing, including destructive and non-destructive methods, to make sure the products are of the best quality. We also offer customised solutions. As a multiple international certified manufacturer and supplier, we have an annual supply capacity of 25,000 tons. With our advanced production and logistic capabilities, we can deliver in-stock products within a week and production orders in 15-60 days.

What is Nickel Tube?

A nickel tube is a tubular product made of high-purity nickel alloy with slight traces of other elements like chromium, copper, etc. The high purity of nickel increases the tube’s performance manifold. This is why it is preferable in high-temperature and high-pressure applications. There are mainly two types of nickel tubes, seamless and welded. However, we at Xintongda specialise in manufacturing seamless nickel tubes. Many industrialists choose nickel tubes over carbon steel ones mainly because of the higher oxidation and corrosion resistance, more thermal stability, higher tensile and yield strength, and better toughness. We offer nickel tube grades like 200 and 201, which have more than 99% nickel.

What are the key Features and Benefits of Nickel Tubing

Nickel tubes have 4 main characteristics that make them different from other material tubes:

  • Good mechanical properties: A nickel tube has high tensile and yield strength, good weldability, high toughness, and excellent ductility.
  • High corrosion resistance: The nickel content forms a passive protective oxide layer when exposed to highly oxidising environments. Also, according to the galvanic series, nickel is considered electrochemically noble. This helps prevent corrosion in an electrolyte.
  • Versatility Across Industries: The features, like good corrosion resistance, high thermal and high-pressure stability, excellent ductility, and others, make the nickel tube versatile across various industries.
  • Long Service Life and Cost Efficiency: Nickel tubes’ long service life and cost efficiency are the result of the collection of the above-mentioned characteristics and their resistance to biofouling.

Nickel Tube Grades

As already mentioned above, we at XTD offer nickel tubes of two grades, 200 and 201. Both of them are made from commercially pure nickel and have good properties.

01

Nickel 200 Tube

The nickel 200 tube, also known as alloy 200 or Ni-200, is a commercially pure wrought nickel (99.6%) tubular product. It is a solid solution strengthened alloy with high resistance to corrosion in acids, saltwater, and caustic solutions. Alloy 200 tube’s standard equivalent designation is UNS N02200.
02

Nickel 201 Tube

Nickel 201 tube is commonly referred to as alloy 201 and Ni-201. Like 200, this is also a commercially pure wrought nickel tube, with the only difference being its low carbon content. This helps the alloy 201 tube to prevent graphitisation at elevated temperatures.

Industrial Applications of Nickel Alloy Tubes
