Manufacturing Process of Alloy 800 Seamless Tube
The manufacturing process of Alloy 800 seamless tube usually starts with a solid round bar of nickel-iron-chromium alloy. This billet is hot-pierced to make a hollow shell. After that, the tube goes through several rounds of cold drawing and intermediate annealing (heat treatment) to get its diameter and wall thickness down to the final required sizes and get the desired microstructure.
