ASTM B423 Incoloy 825 Seamless Pipe Manufacturer in China
We, Zhejiang Xintongda Special Steel (XTD), are a leading supplier and manufacturer of incoloy 825 seamless pipes. Incoloy 825 seamless pipe, also known as Nicrofer 4221, is a tubular product made from an alloy of nickel, iron, and chromium. Incoloy 825 pipe has around 38-46% nickel, 19.5-23.5% chromium, a balanced amount of iron, and the remainder of many other elements. Manufactured under ASTM B423 standard, this UNS N08825 pipe is known for its high resistance to corrosion in aggressive chemical, marine, and high-temperature environments. The molybdenum, copper, and titanium present in this alloy make it super resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These properties make Nicrofer 4221 useful for applications exposed to harsh acids and corrosive environments.
Due to our 4 decades of experience and ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 certifications, customers across China and the globe rely on us for their needs. We have an annual supply capacity of around 25,000 tons with around 1 week of delivery time for in-stock orders and 15-60 days for large production orders.

Manufacturing Process of Alloy 825 Pipe
To manufacture nickel alloy metal pipes 825, we first take a round bar of this alloy and pierce it to form a hollow shell. Then the bar is peeled, ground, centred, heated, and pickled. After that, it goes through cold drawing, heat treatment, straightening, and cutting. The last step is to pickle again and send it for inspection. What are the Key Features of Incoloy 825 Pipe?
There are 5 main characteristics of nickel alloy 825 seamless pipe, like corrosion resistance, service temperature, heat treatment, mechanical properties, and workability.
- Corrosion Resistance: The alloy’s molybdenum, copper, and titanium contents help it resist strong oxidising acids like sulfuric and phosphoric. It also has great resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
- Service Temperature: Nickel alloy 825 can maintain its strength and corrosion resistance even in elevated temperatures (up to 540°C).
- Heat Treatment: 825 seamless pipe goes through heat treatments like solution annealing, which increases its corrosion resistance.
- Mechanical Properties: The 2.4858 seamless pipe’s mechanical properties, like high yield strength, exceptional tensile strength, and hardness, make it stand out.
- Workability: The 825 pipe has good ductility, which increases its weldability.
